Welcome to our band rehearsal! You will need your instruments and your devices. Today we will be rehearsing our teacher selected pieces, discussing Western Region Band, discussing the lesson schedule, and rehearsing our music. There is a TON to do. We will need to be purposeful to get it all done.

3) Warm Ups and Tune - "Tradition of Excellence Book 2 - Page 2 and page 42
4) Student Conductors! Second lesson review
6) A Wild West-ern Regional Etude (sections 1 and 2)
7) Review the following rhythms: 2 sixteenths followed by an eighth, 2 eighths followed by a sixteenth, the "one and and" syncopated rhythm, and the dotted eighth followed by a sixteenth. (flash cards)
8) Re-play sections. This is part one of your practicing assignment.
9) Get head count of those students interested in auditioning.

11) Start Rehearsal of "Last Full Measure." Rehearsal techniques will include: Full Band Run Through for Pre-assessment, Sectionals for differentiation, Full Band Run through for Post Assessment, Student Conductors
