7th Grade PLC

Welcome to our band rehearsal! You will need your instruments and your devices. There is a TON to do. We will need to be purposeful to get it all done.

Our Plan:
1) Welcome!

2) Warm Ups and Tune - "Tradition of Excellence Book 2 - Page 2 and page 42

3) Student Conductors! Third lesson review

4 Listen to "Last Full Measure"

5) Start Rehearsal of "Last Full Measure." Rehearsal techniques will include: Full Band Run Through for Pre-assessment, Sectionals for differentiation, Full Band Run through for Post Assessment, Student Conductors. We wan the entire piece "roughed in" today. GREAT JOB FLUTE SOLOISTS! We've had 3 thus far in 7th and 8th grade band. We need some more!

6) Listen to Amazing Grace.
Rehearsal techniques include student conductors, direct instruction, and sectionals

7) Assignments for practicing.

8 Post to Google Classroom for "exit ticket."

Mr. A will be spending part of today's rehearsal in a meeting in the front office about a school improvement grant. During that time, you will need your device. You will work on the following activities:
