6th Grade PLC

Hi All!

Welcome to our band rehearsal. There is a LOT to do, and only 75 minutes to do it all, so we are going to have to purposeful and stay on track to get it all done. Today we are working on all three of our pieces, and we are going to be doing EVERYTHING with student conductors which should be a great deal of fun. I will be playing with various sections of the band today to help you out. We are going to be using a lot of thumbs up / thumbs down so I know where to go inside the rehearsal to help folks out. We are also going to be working with our 4 point rating scale.

I know it is tricky to try an play a full band arrangement from "scratch" so we are going to use a variety of techniques to help you understand "how it sounds" as we progress through these songs! These may help us. They are videos of a middle school band playing Pink Panther, Antiquitus, and a professional recording of A Little Mozart Suite! We will be using this especially to help us practice at home.
