6th Grade Band

Hi All!

Welcome to our full band rehearsal. There is a LOT to do, and only 75 minutes to do it all, so we are going to have to purposeful and stay on track to get it all done.

Today, you will sign in on the sign in sheet and take your seat in band. Then we will be doing some "book work" and reading exercises.  We all be doing pre and post assessment, sectionals, and student conductors on all four of our pieces.
Today you will be continuing work on our first student selected piece! "Let it Go" is an awesome arrangement, and it is very challenging. We'll have to work hard to get it done, but I know we can do it!

1) Brief review of PACK in band. Brief review of 5 rules.
When I am speaking you are listening.
When you are speaking I am listening. We never speak over each other
If you are playing an instrument, I promise to listen and/or play with you.
If I am playing, you should be listening, or playing along with me.
Keeps hands and instruments to yourselves

2) Warm Up Time!
